Delwin W. Roberts

Mr. Roberts was born in Blackfoot, Idaho and raised in American Falls. He graduated from American Falls High School in 1972. He served a church mission in Australia from 1974-1976. He is married to Trudy Roberts and they have four children and one grandchild. Coming from a farm background he became interested in the law when he saw how much the law impacts everyday life, even on the farm.

Mr. Roberts received a BA degree in communication from Brigham Young University in 1979. He graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1983. He began his legal practice as and Idaho Attorney in Pocatello, Idaho as a general practitioner. He joined his former classmate, Michael McBride, in 1986 in Idaho Falls to begin practice with an emphasis in personal injury and workers compensation claims.

Initially certified as an ITLA and workers compensation specialist in 2003, his re-certification was completed in 2008.

Mr. Roberts carries a BV rating by Martindale Hubbell group which is generally recognized through peer review as a public confirmation of an attorney’s status as a highly respected and ethical member of the bar. Mr. Roberts has been active in the State Bar Association, the local Seventh District Bar Association and the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Roberts has served on the board of the Worker’s Compensation Section. For many years, Mr. Roberts has participated as a Seventh Judicial District committee member for the “Its the Law,” column published in the local newspaper to educate readers on various legal issues.

Mr. Roberts is actively involved in community and church service, including scouting. With his partner Michael McBride the firm established the “Get Government Scholarship” to promote interest among Idaho Falls seniors regarding government and law.

Mr. Roberts’ primary practice consists of personal injury claims related to both work and nonwork activity. His representation has resulted in substantial disability awards for his clients, including, total and permanent disability.

Mr. Roberts enjoys non work activities, including outdoor recreation with his family. Mr. Roberts is committed to excellence as an Idaho Falls Attorney.
